The drive, but it was worth it.

Location was the only thing good.Also good view.

Looks like it was being remodeled . Everything was super dirty. I have pictures of blood/poop/?on pull out couch. Bunkbed has a foot to a foot and a half clearance to touch the ceiling . I thought it was a mouse but it was a flying squirrel in the walls in the cabin . Pots and pans looked like it was a abandoned third world country . Blankets had cigarette burns. Only good thing for us we ate and cooked at other friend’s cabins that were clean. Bottom line overall experience horrible .

The foosball table, the hot tub (but the chemicals was over powering, made us all cough from the steam), the arcade in the room, and the view.

The trash in the front yard was blocking the access to the second floor from the outside (the host did acknowledge this), The trash was full. There was barely any hot water to shower. The screen was ripped. Mattress was overly soft for our taste, the bed was VERY squeaky. The microwave was defective—made flames (fire hazard) No basic seasonings provided (such as salt and pepper) due to chain of custody but really, they could have easily provided this since those aren’t expensive at all. Had to get out of town again to get those. The staircase railing was not secure, wobbly.

The view and location

It was dirty. Had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom before using it. Hair on shower walls, curtain, in tub, under toilet seat. When wiped counter top Clorox wipe was black. Water does not get real warm which is ok but the heater in the bathroom also does not work. Warm relaxing showers are a must for people on vacation. Spider webs with dust on them which means they have been there awhile. Had to wear shoes whole time bc floors had not been mopped for a while (Gummy feeling) leaving bottom of feet black. Bedding for sofa bed was dirty smelt like dirty dog and smoke. The people that stayed before us felt the same way from a letter they left that was still there. This is partially management fault as well for not evaluating the property from time to time. It has not been cleaned for some time. The house has a dirty smell to it when you first walk in. Not the ideal vacation for someone overdue for some time off. On a positive note we loved the view and the up stairs bathroom was clean. But with the bedrooms downstairs that is where everybody that stays here is going to be showering. Especially with the stairs the way they are. Also the railing on stairs are sticky. We did enjoy our time off away from work. The location and view were great. But it could have been alot better if it would have been clean. Just hoping this will help management pay more attention so customers will want to return. I donated a box fan we bought that I was unable to bring back home. I put it back in the box and is in the closet bedroom downstairs. Good Luck and hope this helps making things better. 😊

The property was great. It had everything we needed, especially the foosball table!! Great views from the decks with incredible sunrise views, were a great bonus!
