Ayrs and Graces - Luxury Bed and Breakfast

Breakfast was superb, freshly cooked and accommodated vegetarian options for my wife. The Scottish porridge was different class......delicious!!! The location was perfect for us as it was quiet but very close to Ayr, pubs, restaurants and places of interest. Our hosts were very pleasant, helpful and informative about the best places places to eat, visit and see.

I really cant think of anything that my wife and I didn't like, so were very happy with our whole stay there (5 nights)

Both the bedroom and bathroom were roomy, spotlessly clean, and well appointed. Lots of options for breakfast and it was delicious. Hosts are very welcoming and lovely to chat with. They even greeted us with tea or a glass of wine and home baking! It can't get better than this. We stayed in many B and Bs in 4 weeks in Scotland and this one was outstanding.

Everything about this short stay at Ayrs and Graces was just lovely, from start to finish. Rona and Paul were exceptional hosts. When we arrived we were given a complimentary drink, Rona booked us a table at a nearby restaurant and then drove us there. The accommodation was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the shower great. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious. I can only speak positively about Ayrs and Graces 😃

The welcome was warm from the owner, and the style and finish of the place was good. Breakfast was OK, albeit not what was asked for. Owner did offer to correct it, but we were short of time.

The noise, our room was under the open plan kitchen, and there was no soundproofing. The Smart speaker was left on in the kitchen, and the noise was bad throughout our room all afternoon/evening. Every conversation and footstep in the house reverberates throughout it. We were shown our outside area, which would have been lovely had the couple next door not have been smoking outside their room, so we had to keep the doors shut and were not able to enjoy the sunny evening, but stay in the stuffy room to keep the smoke outside. The owner needs to ensure smokers move away from the house. All easy fixes with a little awareness of "life downstairs". Most expensive night of a 12 night tour, so not great value for us.
