Amanda Villa - Best Value Mountain top Inn

Really comfortable beds, huge bedrooms, big bathrooms, spotlessly clean accomodation. Staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way on every occasion to help us, even driving us to the coast each evening so we could eat in the restaurants, and then picking us up a couple of hours later. Views of the sea, rainforests and reefs were incredible. The wildlife such as fruit bats, colourful birds and tropic birds were amazing!

Nothing really to dislike. Some of the birds are noisy but it is a rainforest! The roads are very steep but after a couple of trips I was very confident as there's hardly ever any other cars on the local roads in this part of Au Cap.

Perfect place for your stay on Mahe Island with great, hospitable and helpful staff, amazing and friendly owners, and last but not least - exhilarating views over the coastline and on the surrounding mountains. Sunsets in the pool are such a memorable experience as well. Just be prepared that those views are only possible thanks to high location of the hotel, so having a car would be very helpful. Levi is a perfect manager of the villa and will make you always feel taken care of. Also, if you need a lift to or from the main road (where the local restaurants are) you can ask for it free of charge, which is one of the best features when looking for a dinner. Overall, place is to be highly recommended and we will for sure visit Amanda Villa again, when we come back to Seychelles!

Absolutely exceptional place with absolutely amazing view. Very nice and kind-hearted staff. Always pleasant, warm, smiling. A place to rest and relax. They took care of us like their own :) For a longer stay, I highly recommend having a rental car to explore the nearby beaches and the rest of the island.

There is nothing we didn't like about it. It was perfect.

We booked this accommodation at the last minute and initially planned to stay for four nights while booking the rest of our stay elsewhere. However, we decided to stay here for all eight nights. The accommodation is located about 1 km uphill from the main road, so having a car would be helpful for easier arrivals and departures. The view from the terrace is excellent, making this place well worth booking. The staff is very friendly—Levi helped us with everything and was always available. The rooms are cleaned daily, even when it’s not necessary, but they still do it. There is private parking within the accommodation. The rooms are spacious enough. Beaches, shops, and takeaway restaurants are right on the road below the accommodation, and there is also a larger restaurant nearby. If you're looking for peace and quiet, along with a great view from the terrace, I highly recommend this place.

The property manager levy was very helpful. Levy attended us for each and every request we had. He was helpful throughout our 4 day stay

Due to a mishap our room was not allocated as per booking. However they upgraded us to VIP suite the next day to make us comfortable. They can have more helpers around as there are only couple of people around.

The breakfast was paid, though the booking said it was included. We could not order dinner from the menu, and were told it’s a Chinese buffet. The venue is up the mountain (difficult to get to) and not that close to the airport.

We didn’t like the rooms we got. They were very big, with many beds, but the space was not used effectively. The decoration was not nice either. It felt like sleeping at my aunts house, and not a hotel.

The location was great, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was amazing (portion on the large side) - great value for money. Airport transfer were seamless. We would definitely recommend.
