Fair Haven - Off Street Parking and Garden

Well presented house and good facilities

There is a roof leak and the two main bedrooms have a large damp patch on the gable wall, I texted the emergency mobile number about it but I never got a reply The heating wasn't on the day we arrived and didn't come on that day at all it was a single figure outside temperature that evening,. Also on the morning we were leaving the heating had been remotely turned off.

Lots of home comforts just like we wanted. Generally a quiet residential area. Any questions we had were promptly answered by the owner. Beds comfy. Everything spotless. Nice touches like shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Biscuits and pods for the coffee maker in the kitchen. A lot of thought had gone in to it.

Nothing major as everything worked. Bedroom TV needed internet access/our own pc which we didn't know about so couldn't use. Bath towels were good but a little on the small side. The back garden was nice and a bit of a sun trap in the afternoon but there was no garden furniture to sit out on.

Really comfy stay with everything we needed for our weekend break. Plenty of room for the family- and handy to have a bin bag and cleaning products provided. As well as milk in the fridge, and a basket of tea, coffee etc. we arrived very late, so this was much appreciated.

Only one small thing was we were one bath towel short. But we managed and it did not impact our stay. Fabulous property

We booked this very last minute and I can't believe it was available. This property deserves to be fully book every week. There's nothing to dislike about this property or its hosts but the overall cleanliness was probably what stood out most - it was spotless. Also, on seeing that we had a long journey, the hosts even offered to leave ready meals in the fridge for our arrival. The property has everything you could reasonably need, beds and furniture are comfortable, WiFi worked very well and kept our youngest happy while I was able to do a bit of work on the laptop. For a family, especially a family with a dog, it's a great property with a secure rear garden and plenty of nice walks right on the doorstep.

Clean. Great bath amenities. Loved having washer and a dishwasher. Off street parking. Beds were comfortable. Conservatory was nice.

I loved how easy it was to check in. The house was clean which was GREAT! Parking was great. The Tesco extra nearby was a bonus. About 15 minutes by car from the centre of town, so it's definitely not in a location where you can walk to restaurants, but it was a great deal!

The air freshener smell was a lot, but at least it didn't smell bad.
