Nana Homestay & Villa

Let me just start by saying Minh Hue is an absolute treasure. This stay was made special because of her. I was traveling solo and she immediately made me feel like a friend. She sat with me over tea and explained the history of Hue, pointing out hidden gems on a map that I never would have found on my own. Her recommendation for a vegetarian restaurant was the best food I had in the city. The villa itself is stunning. It’s clear that every detail was chosen with care, from the furniture to the landscaping. I spent one afternoon just reading in a hammock in the garden, completely peaceful. Yes, the alleyway is narrow and a bit confusing for the taxi the first time, but that's what makes it feel like a true local experience and not a tourist trap. And yeah, I got a few mosquito bites, but the net over the bed was perfect and I slept like a baby. This isn't just a homestay; it's a experience curated by a wonderful local. Don't hesitate.

Immaculate rooms with THE most comfortable beds in the whole of Vietnam! Also about 25 mins walk (or very cheap Grab ride) away from the walking steet and the garish & noisy action. That suited me!

Phòng cách âm hơi kém nên một số thời điểm hơi ồn. Nên có thêm 1 quạt máy cho khách không dùng điều hòa, gối mỏng hơn, 1 khăn hoặc thảm ở cửa nhà vệ sinh.

The receptionist was very friendly. Breakfast is included here, although it’s simple, it feels warm and thoughtful. The koi in the pond are well taken care of, which brings so much life to the front garden. The room is comfortable, spacious, and clean. I especially appreciated the water filter—since I usually carry my own bottle, I prefer not to drink bottle water as it’s less eco-friendly and may contain microplastics.

The only downside is that the pillows looked fluffy but flattened a lot once I lay down. Maybe upgrade the pillows or adding 2 more pillows.

Such a lovely place, with the garden and koi pond. And the furniture and furnishings are so beautiful with a real old world charm. Huge bed and great bathroom too. You can also rent scooters here and get laundry done. I get why people seem to go back to this place. If I go back to Hué, I will definitely stay there again.
