"Fabulous flat in quiet part of the city, great facilities and a warm welcome."

10.0

The flat is first class. It looks like it has been recently renovated. The decor is gorgeous and all the facilities were great. The kitchen is well equipped if you are doing a spot of cooking or ordering in. I liked the small details such as biscuits and porridge pots. The flat is in a quiet location, and a short walk to a lovely cafe, Kiva, for a delicious brunch, which we went to on both mornings that we were there. We had a warm welcome from Tony who showed us around the flat and gave us the lo-down.

It was all perfect. No complaints at all!

"I was so happy I found this flat, it made our stay in Edinburgh even more memorable. I would definitely come back again"

10.0

We had the pleasure to stay 3 nights in this GORGEOUS flat with my dad. We were impressed at the very first second. The flat is really SPACIOUS with gorgeous high ceilings, everything is brand new and renovated and the decor is really stylish. Someone was mentioning in the reviews there wasnt kitchen - but that was not our case - we had an access to beautiful living room/dining room with TV and fireplace and with stylish open plan kitchen (please see the pictures). We didnt use the kitchen as we were only eating out, but it had cooker, kettle, fridge (only the oven was not working I believe). The bedrooms are like on the pictures, cosy and clean. There is a hair dryer in the drawer. Also good plus is if you travel from abroad and you forgot your plug adapter, there are USB wall plug sockets so it’s enough if you have your USB cable. Beds and beddings were like from 5 star hotel, super comfortable. Bathroom again brand new, big bathtub combined with shower. We were provided with set of towels (big and small), there was a shower gel and hand soap. There is also laundry room in the flat with washing machine, iron and iron board. Our hot water was not working at first but the neighbour from above flat (or owner) came straight away to fix it when I sent a message at 9pm and it was a matter of 2 minutes to just turn on the boiler that switched off itself. After that everything was working perfectly. The street is quiet and safe. The centre is 10min by bus which is super easy as the buses go literally every few minutes and its like 2 minutes from the flat.

"Comfortable sleep but it is only 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. A hotel would be better."

6.0

Lovely house and good location if you want to walk up Arthur’s seat. Close to the commonwealth pool. . It has 2 lovely large bedrooms and very comfortable beds. Clean.

It is not an apartment. It is simply 2 bedrooms, with no shared seating space, only 2 chairs in the dark entrance hall. and the kitchen is a kettle and a waste bin. No sink, no fridge so you have to fill the kettle in the tiny bathroom sink. We had to keep our milk on an outside windowsill.. Would be absolutely impossible with children. Only 2 small cups and 2 small glasses provided so it was not kitted out for 4, as advertised. You would be better off in a hotel.

"AVOID at all costs"

1.0

***** Unbelievable********** Please Read the small print, when booking A two bedroom apartment, but you pay for only 1 bedroom. Currently trying to get my money back as the host refused to let us stay. We had 3 year old and apparently, I missed the NO children note! Annoyed at booking.com as I also put 2 Adults and 1 child, so no idea why it shortlisted this property- booking.com says the owner has the power to refund but so far they have kept well over £350 and the owner states the refund is not in his power its booking.com Various calls back and forth to booking.com and I was left to find alternative accommodation and NO refund to date!! If this property fails to refund a two day full booking after refusing myself and my family then I wish them the best of luck in the future, Karma has a way of dealing with unscrupulous owners that think taking a huge amount of money for absolutely nothing. Booking.com should also make sure the kind of property's is not listed on its platform..

"Unexpected experience"

Great location, quick repose from host

Using the garden was not allowed - this was not noted on the booking. Fridge would be very useful for guests to keep drinks cool and to keep milk for morning coffee.

"For the price and location it was overall a nice place for our short 3 day stay."

6.0

Location was perfect, right on the bus line.Lovely neighborhood and felt very safe.Apartment was clean.

Lockbox didn’t work. Tried to contact owner and received no response. Upstairs neighbor ended up letting us in after an hour in the rain. Sent message to owner stating this and still no response. Be aware there is no living room, refrigerator or TV. A large closet contained a kettle, teas, coffee, fruit and snacks with washing machine. No toiletries at all. Although when asked before arriving we were given a small bottle of shampoo.
