Villa A'Kabar Guest House

This new hotel close to Aït Ben Haddou was beautiful and had an extremely friendly and flexible proprietor. The room was nice and comfortable, and like the rest of the hotel, it had furniture that was specifically made for the hotel.

The best guest house i’ve ! The view is amazing , absolutely amazing, u just can’t leave a life without seeing this incredible view ! The stuff was very nice and always cared about all that we needed, the cousins amazing , if u go you have to try they’re soup ( the lady gave me the receipt and also they gave us mint and some other natural leafs for tea ) we will come back absolutely! To be honest i cried as the taxi came to pick us up cause i was absolutely in love staying there ! We also vizit the old village ! The guid also gave us pomegranate and almonds figs directly from the tree and we saw the caves ! The people are nice and calm !

This is a superb and professionally run new guesthouse in the pretty village of Tamedakhte. Stylishly appointed throughout with comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms (best we had!), pristinely clean, and excellent wifi (not always easy to find in Morocco). Staff are outstanding and go out of their way to help you. Abdul took good care of us every day! Breakfasts were some of the best we had during our travels and we were especially grateful to be able to get espresso in the mornings as not many guesthouses offer that. Mouhamed is a gentlemanly host and very generous. He let us even do our laundry which was much appreciated after weeks of traveling and even drove us when we couldn't get a taxi. I highly recommend staying here. It is an excellent location to position yourself to visit Ait Benhaddou (only 5 mins by car) and trekking in the surrounding area with beautiful Berber villages, farmland along the river, and caves are not to be missed. Tamedakhte is also peaceful and less touristy. Villa A'Kabar will definitely stand out as one of the best places my husband and I stayed in across two months in Morocco.
