"The location is amazing and the ocean is beautiful. Tropical storm limited our use."

7.0

Beds were very comfortable, everything worked. Boogie boards and sand toys in the outdoor closet were nice to have. The location is outstanding, end unit with the pool and the ocean just outside the door.

Our stay was during Tropical Storm Debbie. The host had tried to bring all the outdoor furniture inside before the storm, but unfortunately it was already wet. Not only did this crowd the living room, but the wet outdoor furniture also got the rug and couch pillows wet, making the living room unusable for hosting and the downstairs smell kind of damp. We planned to host a dinner during our stay, but did not because of this. The adjacent unit was under construction, and although the storm kept contractors away for the first two days, there was construction materials stored in our parking area and noise the last day we were here. Finally, because of the storm, many of the amenities that our resort fee was meant to cover were not active. Pools were closed, the beach wasnt set up with chairs and umbrellas until the last day we were there, and even walking trails through Wild Dunes were flooded. I know it isnt the resort's fault there was a tropical storm, but if I am paying for amenities that cant be provided, I think a credit of the resort fees is appropriate.
