Captain's garden B'nB

For our group of friends was one of the best places we stayed in NZ. The staff was friendly and they assist us with all our requests. For breakfast they filled up the fridge and we manage our self. Every room has it's one bathroom and they provide toiletries. We had a very nice time here!

It’s a truly lovely place, offering a serene and picturesque natural setting. The rooms and kitchen are beautifully designed, and we had one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. It’s a must-visit stop when traveling up north or exploring Nelson and its surroundings.

Charmantes Haus im britischen Kolonialstil eingerichtet mit etwa 6 Zimmern unterschiedlicher Grösse. Schöne Gartenanlage drumherum. Höchst zuvorkommende Besitzer, die im Nebenhaus wohnen. Die Küche und alle anderen Gemeinschaftsräume als auch die umlaufende Terasse waren einfach toll. Man hat sich willkommen und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es stand immer frisches Obst auf dem Tisch. Zum Frühstück gab es etwas selbst gebackenenes, aber auch alles andere war ausreichend vorhanden.

Da wir insgesamt 2 Monate unterwegs sind, hatten wir etwas mehr Gepäck. Für 2 grosse Koffer gab es im Zimmer 1 nicht genügend Platz. Das Haus ist nach hinten versetzt weg vom Highway, trotzdem hört man die Strasse etwas (zumindest von den Zimmern oben, die nach vorn ausgerichtet sind).

Location was good and had attractive garden. Hostess and hostess friendly. Responded to our requests willingly. Upon realizing our mobility issues, they moved us to larger downstairs room without extra cost.

Breakfast options limited but responded to requests for other options. Communication quite difficult - hostess spoke little English and host didn't always understand our requests.
