ISLANDERS INN - CORON

In center of town on main street, so any room facing front will be noisy, but other rooms not too bad. Possible to walk to the port/tour boat area, or very short ride. Very simple rooms/amenities, but clean. Air conditioning worked fine. Staff helpful in setting up tours/transfers. Rooftop restaurant/lounge area has nice view over area. Had simple (free) breakfast (pancakes or toast/egg), which was good.

Not much in rooms (small fridge would have been nice).

Staff were super friendly and helpful, and Wifi, and Bed comfiness was great!

Typical Asian Hotel bathrooms though and room was smaller than anticipated.

As soon as I booked the Inn messaged me to ask if I needed transport (they do not provide but will organise a pick up at an additional expense) or help with booking tours on the island. They were super accommodating and affordable and made my anniversary with the partner memorable! As soon as we arrived, our room was ready and welcome drinks were brought to our rooms after we had enough time to settle in. I could not recommend this place more! The tour location meet up was only 5min walk, from the hotel and plenty of food options within a 8min walking distance. If you need to rent towels for the tour/ hotsprings they also provide those with a small rental fee. There was a public balcony where breakfast was served, with a scenic view of Coron town proper from 3rd and 4th floor and a few island close by. Such an amazing place to relax after a tour day.

These is honestly nothing to complain about. BUT as a PSA If you are jet lagged and want to sleep during the middle of the day and is sensitive to sound, please keep in mind that you are in the heart of Coron Town proper. The hotel does an amazing job and provides earplugs. I was staying on the 2rd floor (3rd for my American friends) The noise pollution was minimum and tricycles would stop at around 11pm, but DON'T LET THIS BE A DEAL BREAKER FOR YOU! FYI the first set of stairs are a little steep, however the staff do help bring your luggage to your room if you are unable to carry heavy items up.

The room was very spacious, comfy beds and pillows. Very clean, and you get fresh towels. The breakfast was basic in terms of choice but the best pancakes I've had at any hotel! The staff were extremely friendly. I had a medical emergency and was helped beyond expectations and was looked after extremely well! The view from the rooftop is beautiful. I would stay again

The bathroom is a bit small. We had to notify the staff twice that the tap of the basin was broken and the toilet seat loose. After mentioning this was fixed. Our room was located at the main road which made it quite loud but late hours it wasn't too bad.

Price. balcony for breakfast. Staff nice.

Tiny room, tiny bed, no warm water - having to stand on a chair to turn the a/c on.
