The Onyx Villa, Accra

The communication with the host was exceptional. Even though our check-in time was 3:00, he allowed a member of our party who landed early to enter the facility early. The accommodations were exactly as stated and pictured on the website. The rooms were large and comfortable, it felt like home away from home. Our party felt safe even though we were right in the center of Accra.

While the accommodations were wonderful and slept eight people, the dining area only had chairs for six people. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, so we were a little disappointed that normal accessories were not provided, such as, one roll of paper towels, a wine opener, salt and pepper shakers, and a measuring cup. The large pot, which we needed for a party of eight, needed to be replaced. We felt like we were eating aluminum with our meal. The accommodations are set up beautifully like an airbnb, so we expected the little nice touches that they provide.

Everything! Wasn’t sure what to expect but the management exceeded our expectations. The Villa was impeccably clean, the host was very friendly & always available whenever we had an inquiry. We even got a detailed guide on how to navigate Accra from the Villa before check in. it’s one place I’ll always revisit.

My colleagues and I come from all different parts of Africa and were in Ghana for the first time. 1. Quality of the villa - Before we arrived, we were a bit worried about the villa looking too nice on the app but as soon as we got there : the villa was exactly what is on the images if not even better. The villa was also very very clean. 2. Customer service - Prior to our travel, our communication with the host was top notch. As soon as we landed in Accra all the way to our departure: unlike most hosts, Othniel was more than available to help us get our way around, get taxis for our meetings and even if need be help one of our colleagues who had a language barrier. 3. Check in process - Our check in process was very straightforward and smooth as well as the clarity in our check in instructions 4. Location - The location of the villa is very close to key amenities such as the mall, it’s also literally 10 minutes away from Labadi beach 🥰 Generally, we really had a comfortable stay and were more than satisfied. You can be sure this will be our home when we come to Ghana 🇬🇭✨
