We had a wonderful stay in this charming apartment right in the heart of Bologna’s old town. Perfectly located within walking distance of all the key sights, cozy cafés, and fantastic restaurants, it made exploring the city a breeze. The apartment is small but very well-equipped and tucked away at the top of a peaceful five-story building — a real little haven above the rooftops. The owner takes great pride in making guests feel welcome and was always available for any questions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A true gem for anyone wanting to experience Bologna like a local!

Just a heads-up: while it’s not the owner’s fault, the city is currently building a new tram line, and during our stay, construction work started as early as 7am — even on weekends.

Convenient location, felt very safe and the host was terrific and helpful

Giancarlo was an amazing host and very helpful for letting us leave our luggage and give us recommendations for what to do and eat in Bologna. The place was clean and the vintage decor was such a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again!!

Only thing was the low ceiling beams in certain parts of the apartment so something to keep in mind for tall people

Just a nice comfortable place...midway between the train station and old town. Plenty of space, nice bathroom

Not "didn't like" but I would suggest letting people know that you really have to lean into the main door when opening it. It makes you think the keys don't work. Minor thing...it's a great place.

The room was huge, with a separate part with a couch and a small table. Big bed with big tv, open-space kitchen with coffee machines, kettle, and other kitchen utensils. Bathroom was well equipped, with a shower, bidet, hairdryer and towels. The room was decorated with a modern styled artifacts, which added a very comfy feeling. There was also a tarrace, with chairs, table and grill. The location was perfect - in the city center, around 10 minutes to train station.
