The Sunset Apartment - Margate Beach - By Goldex Coastal Breaks

I like everything about it feels like home and have everything you need for your staying. The apartment was fully prepared and ready to use facilities you may need.The location was amazing just infront of the beach and was easy to find.It was amazing holiday and definitely I will book again next time.

Some of the staff was broken like door frame or shower pipe but did not really bother me.

Amazing location. Restaurants and sea just a few steps away. Comfortable bed and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had tickets for the Tom Grennan concert so easy 5 minute walk to get there! Lay out of flat was large and comfortable with a sea view from the sofas Central location for exploring round the town Didn't make use of the 10% discount in the local eateries the hosts mentioned Didn't try make a meal so don't know if there is enough of everything to do so.

The clock tower chimes every 15 mins during the day! Guess you zone it out if you are there long enough Shower head doesn't have a permanent fixing so becomes more of a hand held shower experience Double bed in main bedroom could be bigger considering there is plenty of space Parking is restricted to 10 hours so needed to go out and reset early in the morning.

The property was in a quiet area. The beds were super comfy. And the hot tub outside was excellent. Just to add that we were moved to Westbrook Bay apartment as the original one was double booked.

The toilet seat did not match the toilet.

Check in very disappointing. Really annoying actually and very unprofessional. By way of background, I am currently unable to Sync my phone to my work emails because of an IT upgrade in my firm. I knew I wouldn't be able to receive email (Booking.com) messages to my phone so earlier in the week and, because I had booked Friday 14th on holiday, I had specifically messaged to ask if the lock box combination could be sent to my mobile instead. Nicki messaged to say yes this wouldn't be a problem. I arrived just after check in time and no message. Had to ring your landline number and was told by a young lady that info is not sent to mobiles. I was also told it had been sent to me via booking.com message (emailed) to me on the Friday. I explained all of the above but the lady was quite clear (to begin with) that this wasn't the way it worked. So at this stage, I'm sitting 200 yards away from a flat I have booked and paid for, with family in the car, asking for a code to be sent to my mobile which had previously been agreed, and now I'm thinking I either need to just abandon the weekend, or drive 180 mile round trip back to my office in Essex just to open my email!! I told the young lady I had a message confirming it would be ok to send the code to my mobile. Eventually she said she would send but it came across like she was doing me the biggest favour. Even worse, she delivered what felt like a lecture about "what I needed to do next time" and make sure i use an email I can get access to - before she sent the message. Respectfully I travel a lot and use Booking.com a lot for my UK trips. This was a one off occasion when I had an IT issue. My accountancy practise has merged with a large UK firm and the IT migrations (including syncing emails and work IT to partners Apple phones) is causing an issue. I just don't understand why all this was such a fuss when I had a message saying everything would be fine.

Didn't realise it was on the 2nd floor steep stairs. But managed okay. The apartment was lovely once inside, but the stairs could do with re-decorating. A shame about the bathroom sink being blocked. But attended to promptly when reported. Along with the door freezer that was difficult to close.
