Villa Adaro - Large Luxury close to marina

Perfect location right by the marina and an easy walk into old town - beautiful looking villa with 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms and a cloakroom - comfortable beds and lounge area - plenty of sunbeds and outside dining area, great air con, lovely size pool - excellent pre-arrival communication with Amaris

Mainly in the kitchen area - particularly with the fridge, which we did report and despite trying to change the temperatures (also advised to leave the fridge door open which didn’t work and was an impractical) most of the time we were there all of our food was frozen so considering we had a Villa because we wanted to eat in and stay around the Villa we threw away so much food that got completely ruined because of the state of the fridge. My brother came to join us and is a type one diabetic which means he had insulin with him which needed to go into the fridge but we couldn’t put it in because everything was freezing so the first two nights he was there we had to keep the insulin out of the fridge and wrapped in something so that it stayed cold but didn’t freeze until it was within it six day expiry. That was very inconvenient for us and dangerous for him - estimated over 50 euros worth of food was ruined and thrown away so we ended up eating out far more than we intended The cooker which has got three knobs on the front has got no instructions - all of the writing on the knobs has completely faded over time and I understand that this can happen but there were no instructions in the kitchen so we didn’t know how to use the cooker. We never really got it to work properly. We put pizzas in one night that took an hour to cook!
