Is pretty basic and bottom end for the price. But does the job, has everything you need.

Pretty rough around the edges. The bathroom was grim

Stayed 4 nights in February. Check-in OK. Staff pleasant and helpful. Basic room and reasonably clean. Usual basic facilities. Bed and AC fine. Location is OK. 10-15 minutes to southern end of beach. Really worth seeing the beach and MGR memorial in evening on weekends, as well as St Thomas' basilica. 30 minutes to large temples. Interesting streets. Some middling restaurants to west. Supermarket and bakeries close-by.

Kept getting annoying emails for prepayment to 'lock in' booking before arrival. Took my chances. OK but basic room. Not as bright or well decorated as photos indicate. Very noisy fan. Needs some hooks and/or clothes hangers. Hot water luke warm. Towel could have been cleaner. Doorframe had gaps and lock was temperamental. Close to beach but at southern end. Bit of a walk to sights to the north and south. About 15 minutes by auto from major train stations and centre. Address provided on booking confirmation NOT accurate. It's at 62, Avvai Shanmugam Salai, NOT on nearby 25, Judge Jambulingam Street!! Double check for yourself.

The room is clean and with AC. The hot water in bedroom is also working well. 5mins walking distance you can reach lots of food stands. And the staff is 24 hours in front desk. Generally it’s a nice stay experience.

The property corridor is a bit old from looking. Staffs didn’t speak well English and kind of only 60% helpful. But they are always in front desk.
