Very good hotel. Beautiful location. Friendly personal. The room was big enough, good shower etc.

Beautiful locality, great restaurant, very friendly and nice staffs. The room furnishings are quite basic, but the room and bathroom are perfectly clean. Overall, we were very happy in the accommodation and would not hesitate to come again.

What a find! In a lovely village, so close to Edam and Purmerend, with plenty of countryside walking/cycling all around. Very relaxed and comfortable place, rooms clean and comfy, and nothing too much trouble for Lisa and her lovely team. We asked to change to softer pillows which was done immediately with no problem. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing!! Best continental breakfast I've had! They had thought of everything and so beautifully laid out! So nice!!

This is a beautiful old hotel/restaurant in the countryside away from the noise of Amsterdam yet still close enough for day trips. The rooms were comfortable, the food outstanding and the staff just gorgeous. On day trips to Amsterdam, we took the P+R from Amsterdam Noord where it was only 1 euro for parking and only 3 metro stops to the centre of Amsterdam.

If you stay in the accomodation beware of really steep wooden steps up to the room!

We booked this place to visit Amsterdam. The 200-year-old hotel is in the middle of the fields, but you're just 20 minutes away by car from P+R Amsterdam Noord, where metro takes you to the centre. First and most important: the owner and her staff are exceptional! The welcome was very warm, and everything was being done to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is among the best I've ever had: a table covered just for the two of us and at the time requested, with freshly baked oven rolls, fresh juice, coffee, cheese and ham, an egg, cereals... Rooms are charming and you wake up to the sound of birds outside. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we are certainly coming back!

Nothing of significance, except the logical fact that the building is 200+ years old and has wooden floors and walls. So not the kind of place to throw a party, but great for relaxing :-)

Very nice and quiet accommodation and super friendly staff. We forgot some jewelry in the room and they shipped it to Spain free of charge, amazing customer service.
