Sapphire Beachfront, Free Wi Fi, Pool, Snorkeling Amazing View!

The worst experience I've had with any lodging Booking.com / VRBO / Air BNB etc.

I booked this until 2 days before arrival. After I booked I was immediately contacted by the owner multiple times via phone and txt asking about extending our stay. I responded that I was not interested because we had lodging on St John for the rest of our travels. No further communication happened from the owner after that point prior to arrival and no detailed instructions we provided by owner including the unit number or entry instructions. We ended up taking a red eye flight to STT (almost 15 hours travel) and on arrival at the complex no one could get a hold of the owner to get entry instruction including booking.com. After ~4 hours of hanging out at the complex, after a red eye flight, and many attempts by myself and booking.com to contact the owner, booking.com aggreaded to cancel my reservation (which I could not do directly per booking.com rules) and help us rebook at a neighboring, much more expensive resort. Unfortunately again... this was not the end of the pain as the owner would not refund our money and booking.com could not refund it because it was processed as a 3rd party transaction saying the owner had to do it. After more than 30 days a 5+ different long phone calls with booking.com the owner finally decided to refund the transaction minutes before the last deadline Booking.com placed on him to pay up. Booking.com actually offered to refund me if he didn't pay by that last deadline. Luckily we did not have to go there. This was a total mess. I'm actually surprised I did get my money back as it felt like a scam starting minutes after booking. I would not recommend booking here based on my experience.

Location is beyond perfect, there is restaurants, coffee shop, beatiful cristal clear water right out of your balcony! Overall amazing experience!
