Ononui lodge

Very nice room appeared to be relatively new, very nice decorations, very good shower in bathroom, very good air conditioning. Very convenient for the airport but you need a taxi.

There were a lot of steps down then up to get to our room (probably the worst room in the property for access). The own has advised (subsequently) that this is pointed out on the BOOKING site but if so, I did not see it. We had two heavy suitcases (and I am quite old). There were no staff at checkin to help with the cases (when arriving and at 6.00 am departure. I would not have booked if I had known this in advance. Possible to walk to shops (but not a nice road to walk down). Really need to have a car or use taxis.

It’s not on a major street, but I was only looking for an overnight.

We actually stayed at Tahia's Ononui Lodge for three nights. We found her to be a most excellent host, and a kind and extremely helpful person! During our stay we had a big mix- up with our return flight arrangements, and she sat with us and helped us get it figured out. She was so friendly and personable, visiting with us, and sharing something of her Polynesian background. We unhesitatingly and most highly recommend Ononui Lodge to all!

There are quite a few stairs, but I would not let that stand in my way of enjoying the lodge. I forgot to mention that our room was beautifully and lovingly decorated, and had the best shower ever!

Lovely room. Clean, modern and nice shower. Helpful staff. Parking.

We the had the end unit nearest the road and outside, on the deck, it was very noisy. Inside the unit it was quiet. There isn't much of a sea view from the unit we had. Just a peek really.

Perfect stay. Well located close to the airport, very well kept, very comfortable overall. Staff is very friendly and helpful (thank you Tahia!), we had a lovely stay during our travels in Tahiti.
