Number 1 Cannons at The Old Dairy Clevedon

It is a brand new property, nicely done out and very comfortable. It’s on a golf course and was really peaceful.

You need a car to get to any shops or eating places. Because it is by the gate, there is no outside seating area, we sat in the doorway when it was nice outside. There were lots of small issues that did not really cause a problem but could easily be put right. The door to the second bedroom didn’t close properly and had a loud creak; there was no power in the sockets in the first bedroom; the property sleeps 4 but there was only 4 of everything; the windows are all large and open fully so I did not feel comfortable leaving a window open over night. There were also several things we felt were missing to make it a really top property such as a battery in the clock, a bin in the bathroom, soap, a shelf in the shower and a hair dryer.

Very comfortable and stylish accommodation. Quiet with lots of birds and wildlife and close to the Bristol Channel. The golf club is only 50 metres away with food and drinks.

It is a half hour walk from Hill Rd, Clevedon, and the nearest shop, however would be fine with a car. There are no basic kitchen foods like oil, such as can be found at other accommodation (we left our oil for the next people).

Beautifully fitted with everything we needed for our stay including comfortable bedrooms and sitting area. The location was good for walking or driving into Clevedon but it was a bit tricky to find!

There was no information pack or any information in the online ‘customer portal’ except for a map and address. We didn’t know how the heating worked, how to sort the rubbish, the nearest facilities or WiFi password and this was a little inconvenient. We got a quick response when we asked for the WiFi code but when we entered it, it was incorrect so we did not have WiFi during our stay.
