GBThe lodge was very pleasant and cosy. It was the perfect location for peace and quiet and getting away from it all, but still within easy striking distance of Keswick and Carlisle. Because the weather was cold, I was a little worried it wouldn't be warm enough, but in fact, the heating was great. The kitchen was well equipped and there were lots of nice little touches like a handful of DVDs and a birds guide. It was lovely to watch the birds on the feeders outside and we also saw red squirrels.
There were no problems; everything was excellent.

GBThis was without a doubt our best short break ever ,The location is fabulous The hosts are helpful and lovely and let you get on with your holiday, it is peace and quiet at its best the lodge was clean and comfortable in every way, we will definitely be back as soon as we can and will stay longer as we absolutely love it so much .Lynn and Ian XxX Both lodges are fabulous as we had our son his partner , our granddaughter in one lodge and we were in the other, lovely private secure place for our granddaughter to play and the dog to have full run of the whole place.
We absolutely Loved everything, it was perfect .
GBShort return stay as we enjoyed our time so much earlier this year. Interestingly the WiFi is much better in Lodge 2...happy teenagers although we weren't in too much as we were making the most of our time.
Nothing - a couple of things were kindly pointed out by Rod but had no effect on our enjoyment at all- thanks so much.
