Everything was simply amazing. The house has everything you could possibly need, and each room has its own unique character with a wonderful artistic vibe. What makes this place even more special is the lovely owner, who has an art gallery downstairs filled with fascinating pieces. He speaks excellent English, is incredibly kind, and made us feel very welcome and safe. The street itself carries a unique charm, adding even more to the experience. If you want to stay in the most special and memorable place in Stari Grad, Hvar, this is truly the place to be. We ade coming back

Très bel emplacement, un jardin ombragé très agréable et une terrasse en haut. Des belles chambres avec des ventilateurs plafonniers qui nous ont bien servis. Merci aux hôtes de leur conseils. Un coup de cœur pour la cuisine et sa véranda vegetalisée

It was a truly special place: quirky but quietly luxurious. It's very peaceful yet surrounded by beautiful restaurants and places to drink in a charming setting. Every inch of the interior has been carefully designed and collected by the owner who is an artist. All of this combined with a building which is 500 years old makes for a unique house. The courtyard and roof terrace are great outdoor spaces too.

The stairs up to the top floor are quite challenging so not ideal for small children to go up and down. That said, our daughter is three and we just told her not to go up alone but this might be harder with smaller children who are mobile. But it's a building that's hundreds of years old which is part of its charm!
