The layout and space

The house was very comfortable.

Despite information on the Booking. com website saying there was parking for 2 cars, Curb Properties denied this, suggesting we use expensive paid parking 15mins walk away instead. Eventually they relented and paid for zone parking for the car.

Bedrooms are lovely clean and comfortable The towels and toiletries were of good quality Towels very nice and of good quality Liked that it had cloakroom bathroom and shower room The location is ideal for the town centre and supermarket There were lots of cleaning products which is a plus Overall a very good property

Lounge is dark with very little natural lighting think the bottom oven requires some maintenance and I would suggest a cheese board and some serving dishes

Quiet road. Well equipped. Comfortable beds.

The house was cold and some of the radiators were not working. This was in a week where outside temperatures were around 12 to 14. I did send an email about this but had no reply. There should also be a statement that this house is not fit for those who are elderly. The kitchen and lounge were separated by a flight of stairs so coffee after meals had to either be taken upstairs to drink in comfort or stay on hard benches in a cold kitchen. Also we couldn't use either shower because there were no grab bars and the bath was too high to climb into. I sent one email as at age 86 I'm not very quick on using gadgetry I've never come across before and had forgotten how to use the key box. We had a visit from a very unpleasant and sneering man who, with no respect for age, shouted at me as if I was a particularly dense child Also for anyone who would want to sit outside i wouldn't recommend it. The area is small, shaded by dense trees and is very grubby looking.

Almost everything great location easy access to waitrose. We all slept well, and there was no noise from traffic.

I had the first floor bedroom and ensuite it was a little annoying that there was no shelf for my toiletries in the shower cubicle.

It was clean & tidy, all stocked up with essentials & everyone was very helpful.

Amazing location for town centre and access to racecourse. Hosts extremely helpful and accommodating throughout. Very clean, all facilities you would need and very comfortable beds!

The location was excellent, close to the city centre and supermarkets and restaurants etc. The house was of a good size, with plenty of room for a family to stay. Toilet paper and some milk sachets were provided, which was great!

The master bedroom was at the front of the house, and while a nice size, it was noisy and the street lights and car lights kept us awake. Could benefit from some blackout curtains or blinds. Would appreciate some of the helpful kitchen items, such as tin-foil and dishwasher tablets, because you don’t want to buy a full box for just a few days stay.
