"Adequate for our purpose and length of stay but won't book another stay in future"

On first impressions, all excellent. Quirky and very comfortable living/dining area; blissful bedding; lighting easily adjustable; the gas hob

The plug which didn't fit the bathroom washbasin; the bedroom blind which was badly torn; a can opener that was in 3 pieces; a rubbish bin which contained sandwich wrappers when we arrived

The decor was nice and the bathroom was clean.

The kitchen was grubby (tools and pubic hair in cutlery drawer). No welcome pack, no coffee (at all). A few tea bags & sugar. Dirty coffee machine with no coffee. Food items in dirty cupboards. No kitchen roll, box of milk cartons in grubby fridge which were splitting. Rubbish in bin, no curtains except the bedroom which had a broken blind. Questionable whether the double bed had clean sheets. Floor was dirty.
