The Villa was very large, pool was brilliant, view from Villa was excellent. Large sitting area on upper floor was beautiful.

Location was not what expected, had to use taxi on daily basis. Large bar area outside, great, bur 3 broken bar stools which caused an injury, as not safe to sit on. Outlay of Villa not suitable for older visitors, as kitchen in top floor but all outdoor sitting areas on ground level. It's a 3 level Villa.

Location and outside space

A few days before arriving at the villa I messaged on the booking.com platform and to the WhatsApp number provided on the platform. I voiced our concerns over the previous reviews about the villa's cleanliness and wanted to ensure that this would not be a problem. I was ignored. They did not respond via the platform or to the WhatsApp message. When we arrived at the villa (an hour after permitted check-in) two people greeted us, we assumed the cleaners, just leaving the property. They told us that there was a problem with the apartment water system and that we couldn’t use that bathroom for the moment. The workmen that came to try and fix it were great but said that a professional was required and that someone would come the next day. This meant that three guests were required to leave the apartment, venture outside the property and go to the main house in order to use the bathroom. The next day when it was fixed a sewage mess was left in that bathroom. We asked for a cleaner to come and clean it but no one came, meaning that the bathroom could not be used the entire weekend. Also, as part of the works carried out, all the sewage access points in the bathrooms in the main house had been opened, so there was an awful smell at all times, even in the pool area. At one point we saw a rat run across the ‘grass’ and down the steps to the pool maintenance area. By the end of the holiday, you could not see the bottom of the pool! The rest of the property was also not clean. We found cereal in the living areas, broken biscuits on the floor outside and one of the guests found an empty crisp packet and a wet towel in her wardrobe. There were no shower screens or curtains anywhere and only one shower head could be fixed to its holder, meaning that most of us had to kneel in the bath to stop getting water all over the floors. This was not good for the 72-year-old guest in our group. This property could be amazing, however lack of maintenance and care left it disappointing.

Great spaces, amazing location, the whole family loved it!

Nothing not to like. Tips for anyone coming here: two of the bedrooms are in the apartment which we found after some searching… there’s a door on the left as you come through the main gate which you might not think big enough for an apartment. The train station is nearby, but it’s not flat land, so a struggle for those who can’t walk strongly, or pushing babies. Uber and Bolt operate all around and they are reasonably priced.

The property is located just 20 minutes from Malaga airport and only 45 minutes from Malaga city which via Uber was around €35. The villa was clean throughout, very easy to access and being with most our stay spent in Malaga, very affordable for our group to travel back and forth. The views are (as pictured) incredible and we enjoyed an evening cooking fresh meat and fish (Mercadona 4 minutes drive away). The facilities were great, showers, kitchen, bbq, swimming pool etc we had no complaints. I would gladly stay here again and given the very reasonable price we all felt like we had great value for money. The host was easy to communicate with and access was very simple. As a group of 8 we had absolutely the best time. Thank you to the host for having us.

This property was outstanding for the time of year we went and the price paid. The house was perfect for 10 adults. The pool was great and the outside bar area was where we spent our evenings enjoying a the BBQ and there's a fridge out there to store drinks. We took a speaker and disco light so we had our own bar set up, it was fab! We went for a 40th party, so wasn't looking to head into town making this villa a perfect retreat. The house was spacious enough for everyone to have their own time if needed (it wasn't needed though!). There was enough space for three cars on the drive. Easy access to the house and the hosts were quick to respond prior to the trip and whilst we were out there. Would we visit again? 100%.

The door in the room leading to the pool with the closest toilet was locked as the key had been misplaced before we arrived. This meant that anyone wishing to use the loo from poolside had to venture further up into the house. Did it ruin our trip? No way - I'm sure the host will have the key replaced soon, if not already!
