Facilities were advanced, all mirrors in the room lit up and the one in the bathroom was heated. Toilet had built in cleaning options.

The shower was clearly an expensive model however it worked quite badly. Randomly the temperature would shoot up to 55 degrees C, burning me without warning. The water drained extremely slowly causing water to leak out of the shower into the rest of the bathroom. AC wasn’t set up properly. Whenever I set it to a temperature, shortly after it went back up to a high temperature. I had to watch a youtube tutorial with that specific AC model to figure out how to stop it from doing that. I had to change the settings on the system itself. The door in the room did not self close, but most importantly it had no lock from my side, meaning any staff member with a key could just walk in. I pushed the handle up which made a clicking sound, I assumed that it was in fact a lock. However the next morning when I was in the shower, 2 housekeepers let themselves into my room and nearly saw me naked - not a fun surprise. Complete and utter lack of security. Grouting issue in the bathroom, quite a lot of dirt and grime around the shower, and under the bed was very dusty. Staff were extremely slow and clearly inexperienced. I booked the hotel early in the morning the day of my stay, which I admit is short notice. But it was through this website which is well-known and very much used in Vietnam. The staff couldn’t find a record of my booking. It took me standing there for 45 minutes while 3 receptionists shouted down the phone at some lady that they were on a call with (presumably the manager or owner who obviously wasn’t there at the time). I was extremely exhausted and needed a shower, but there was no apology or reassurance during my standing there and waiting. Whether they found the booking or just made a new one, I was finally let into my room.

The hospitality is the best thing I’ve seen in a while Management and the staff are wonderful Definitely recommend it
