Bedroom above loud music. No breakfast. But your website stated there was!

The bedroom and en-suite were very comfortable and VERY clean. The side entrance staircase is away from from the pub and quite private. I expected, on a Saturday night, that there might be noise from downstairs but it really was not a problem. We had a really good night's sleep. Check-in very straightforward, friendly and helpful.

My wife is most critical of such things due to watching too much Four in a Bed, but the best she could come up with was her disappointment that there was no sea view!

The room was clean and functional

The website says the pub closes at 11.30. Despite this there was very loud music coming from the bar at 12.15.am on a Thursday night. We were told the premises has a licence until 2 am. More like a night club than a pub. Staff didn’t care that our room was above the bar and the music was pumping. You expect some noise with a pub but not as loud and thumping as the music played. We didn’t stay for the second night as we were promised a repeat of Thursday. No apology or offer of refund. Will never stay again.
