Villa Milano - Jacuzzi Rooftop Lounge with BBQ and Billiard Room

We spent a lot of fun time with my friends in this apartment. Apartment was located in the safe area but it was near to St Julians 25 minutes by walk. Lidl and the beach is 5 minutes by walk. The apartment is perfect for a big group of friends. There is a nice Jacuzzi and the rooftop with sunbeds. Rooms are big and the kitchen is equipped. There is an air conditioner so it’s a big plus with temperatures in malta. Everything was cleaned up before our arrival.

Location of the property is great, everythin is really close, yet it is still a quiet place. The little terrace in the backyard was a huge bonus.

The cleanliness wasn't the greatest, we did have tea and coffe pods at the property but no kettle or coffee maker, little confusing this aspect and something that we definitely DID NOT like. For your morning coffe you have to walk to the nearest shop and buy one.

We stayed at Villa Rosa for 6 days/5 nights. This review is intended to give an accurate representation of the place to help future visitors with expectations. First the pros: -The overall place felt grand and spacious. Our group consisted of 7 adults and we had enough room between the bedrooms and shared spaces like the living and dining room. -The location was excellent. As described, it is close to some beaches and there are a ton of restaurants and bars in the area. There is also a little market on the street where we could pick up some food and other essentials.

The cons: -The listing says there are 3 bathrooms. Please note that the 3rd bathroom is ONLY accessible by going through the second floor bathroom. You cannot access it any other way presently and negates the privacy and comfort one would expect having 3 bathrooms. -The 3rd bathroom’s shower is just a shower head and drain on the ground (not a separate shower or bathtub). The ground is not sloped towards the drain so the whole bathroom floor floods with the shower. Our group found this shower unusable. -The remaining showers in the other two bathrooms both had draining issues (slow to drain). -Two of the bathrooms additionally had mold on the ceiling and above the door. -The listing states “Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the city views.” When we asked about this after check-in we were told this is not available due to safety issues with the terrace. We were not told this when booking, only when asked. Additionally there wasn’t any construction of any sort being done on this area so it is highly doubtful this will be available for use in the near future. -The listing states “A bar can be found on-site.” This is completely inaccurate. There is no bar on site.

Rooms were spacious perfect for a family of 8. Pool table kept the kids entertained in the evenings.
