Coachmans Cottage, East Budleigh, Sleeps 6

It was a very nice cottage. Very clean, we enjoyed our stay and location was good for day trips out. The staff,family were very nice and friendly and helped with any questions we had. Would very much recommend this cottage to stay at.

Amazing views, lovely accommodation, easy parking, helpful host. I stayed with 2 family members who were visiting from Canada and it was the perfect spot for us. The views were a particularly lovely surprise and the flat was clean and comfortable!

The single beds are smaller than normal singles, so not ideal if an adult is using them. There could be another small sofa, rather than an arm chair to make the lounge area more comfortable. Fine for us as we were three, but would have been disappointing if 4 of us ha come.

The Coachmans Cottage is mainly situated above The Coach House and has a utility room downstairs with a fridge freezer, washer, dryer, sink and storage. The rest of the accomodation is upstairs. There are excellent views from the living room which has a sofa bed, one chair, dining table and 6 dining chairs. This is a lovely property for up to 4 guests but not ideal for 6 adult guests. Facilities very good, warm and cosy.

More crockery particularly cups/mugs would have been helpful.

The accommodation was warm and comfortable and of a high specification. Beautiful views and parking right outside the property.

Unfortunately we had a few issues. We found some hair in the bottom of the bath, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned or at least rinsed properly. But otherwise, the property had been cleaned to a high standard. We had difficulties trying to get some of the appliances to work, including the oven and the hob. Unfortunately there were no instructions. The curtain in the main bedroom came down on our first evening. It was a retractable pole, which I would say is not ideal in a rental property! We eventually got it back up. We had a power cut on the Saturday evening, plunging us into darkness! Obviously this wasn't anyone's fault, but meant that we had no hot or cold water or heating. Fortunately we had taken a candle with us and one of our phone's was charged, otherwise there wouldn't have been any light! Couldn't find any candles or a torch in the property and the owners were away. I've tried communicating with the management company in regards to the above, but not had alot back.
