Luxury 2 Bedroom Apartment w/ Free Parking

Lovely modern apartment and was really nice and warm when we got there. Clean and had everything you need. Looks like it had been recently decorated - in very good taste.

Was a little unsure about where to leave the rubbish but asked the neighbour and they showed us where the bins are as there is no sign and it looks like it belongs to the house next door.

Easy access to old York, only 7 minutes walk to monkgate ,15 to minster.

Great location, about 10 mins walk to the city walls (Minster side). Apartment was very well equipped, we stayed during a heatwave but we had fans to go in the bedrooms so it was manageable! Great communication with owner, very responsive to any queries.

Nothing, we loved our stay and would definitely return if we came back to York

Comfortable spacious well equipped property, everything you could need for a short stay in York, great location with parking. There were 3 of us so plenty room, obviously one bedroom larger than the other, perfect for us. Bathroom lovely with great shower. Easy entry instructions, would definitely stay again.

We were happy with everything, however, it was very dark in the kitchen, obviously no window so no natural light and the decor is dark, black doors, if you needed the bathroom through the night a little disorienting. Really not an issue, just first night.

Excellent location and spacious.

Could have done with a bigger bed.

Parking

The apartment is advertised as "LUXURY" which is totally MISLEADING there was nothing luxury about it. First impression was a very dirty hallway, and front door. Inside the apartment the carpets were dirty, living room rug stained, the oven was dirty, toaster was unusable, freezer box was blocked with ice, the coffee table top and base were damaged, chipped plates and dishes, bad smell from kitchen sink and even the washing up bowl was greasy. The toilet was filthy, the bathroom sink was blocked, the living room windows were dirty and the glazing is blown. The cushions were stained and bedding and towels arent "luxury"! We had toe nails clippings at the side of the bed! The balcony was dirty and had peeling paint. The apartment is on a very busy main road/roundabout the owner admits he has sealed a bedroom window to cut out the noise! We went to York for a special occasion but because of the apartment condition and road noise we left early. The owner argues that if we had let him know he could have resolved it, interesting that his phone was unavailable for the duration of our stay. We sent him photographs taken on the day of our arrival, he inspected the property and agreed with some of our complaints but blames other renters and property management. His replies also show that he was well aware of many of the problems. He wont come to a fair solution, he argues that he has fabulous reviews from many other renters! Not sure what that has to do with our experience, we are now still in dispute his last message in june said go back to booking.com. which we did but they have now advised us that after many attempts to contact him, he is also still not responding to them!

So much space, nice decor, parking, clean, comfy, location spot on, approachable hosts.

Lovely apartment, definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Just two things, the window in bedroom doesn't open, in this beautiful weather, it needs to open ,way to hot in there and also the bed in other room , the gap between headboard and matress is to big, matress doesn't fit
