Settle in Winchester - Stylish Self Check-In Rooms

Great central location, comfortable room. Very grateful for the pedestal fan as the sun had been shining into the room all day and it was pretty toasty in there when I arrived!

The room was clean and tidy, and adequate for our needs, but didn't realise the number of stairs, or that the kitchen and settee were separate. The bed was extremely comfortable. We slept well. The housekeeper was wonderfully helpful.

Too many stairs! Insufficient storage... not enough hangars in the wardrobe, and shelves behind the door would be really useful. Also, for increased safety, a handrail in the shower would have saved us slipping. There was no safety mat in there either. A second hand-towel would have been good too. We were a little stunned at the low availability of parking. It would have helped to know more before we arrived.

Really clean and well equipped. Great location. Was kept informed about when access codes would be sent and who to contact if needed. Loved being able to sit in the bay window and have a glass of wine - almost as good as being on a balcony in Spain!!

The one niggle was not having a bedside table on both sides of the bed; it made drinking my morning brew a little awkward as I had to keep reaching down to pick the cup off the floor!

Good, quiet location for city centre. Kitchen available to make breakfast but felt like a student house.

Shower doors didn't close. Generally run down - shower tray cracked, basin cracked, kitchen appliances didn't work, decorative repairs needed.
