Retiro Park-Roof Top Studio & Huge Terrace

We informed the owners that will be a family of four, but they prepared the linen only for 3 persons, so we had to sleep over a dirty linen, the clearance of the blanket also created some doubts. La terraza fue un oasis con el calor que hizo esta semana en madrid .preciosa. El apartamento tiene absolutamente de todo. La anfitriona atenta en todo momento Booking tuvo un error a la hora de ofertar posibilidad de llevar mascota y joana fuen comprensiva y lo subsano Booking deberia ser mas serio al ofertar alojamientos pet friendly no es la primera vez que me pasa. La ducha de la terraza un acierto. Si me dejan volver con Roma mi perrita seguro volvere.

El interior algo justo para cuatro personas y una mascota . Por lo demas genial fueron tres dias estupendos.

La situation est idéale pour visiter la ville, pour de bons marcheurs, tout se fait à pied sinon transports publics à proximité. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de traverser le parc chaque soir pour rentrer, ça permet de prendre un bol d'air frais et de calme par rapport à l'agitation touristique de la ville. Le quartier de Salamanca, côté est, est très local en termes de commerces et de fréquentation, ce qui a rendu notre séjour plus agréable. La terrasse est incroyable et la douche extérieure top. Le logement est très calme pour être en pleine ville. Le studio est coquet, tout est millimétré, dispose de l'équipement nécessaire bien que nous n'ayons pas mangé à l'intérieur. Le lave linge est un plus par ces chaudes journées d'été. Le système d'ouverture des portes par mobile est simple et pratique.

Le logement mérite d'être entretenu (fuite douche extérieure et robinet fragilisé/peinture carreaux salle de bain écaillée et tige mitigeur cassée/tables basses extérieures détériorées/volet roulant vieillissant). J'aurai apprécié que la terrasse soit aspirée. L'accès au lit mezzanine nécessite d'être agile, l'échelle est très raide. Le logement doit correspondre aux photos de l'annonce. Cela n'a pas été un problème pour nous mais à savoir, l'accès à la terrasse nécessite de monter une marche de plus de 30 cm.

The link to get the code to open the street door and the flat door was easy to use. We did not understand in the beginning but the host explained to us how to use it. It was very good. The location is very good as well, it's just in front of the most beautiful park in the city.

I did not like that after our stay the host wanted to charge us 150 euros for damaging the table. We did not damage, she said it was a glue on the top table and said to Booking.com we have done "multiple scratches", we haven't. I recommend to take pictures when you arrive and report to the host if you find any anomalies around. Something else I did not like was how difficult was for us to get upstairs, I didn't expect the stairs to be so small. If you are a big person, overweight or not fit, this stairs might be a hazard during the night going to the toilet.

Joanna is a really lovely host. You don't even have to ask her about the best restaurants in town - she recommended them herself! The location of the apartment was great. Close to the center, but also a wonderful park. Just wait until you see that terrace <3

Very well appointed apartment in a fantastic neighbourhood. All modern appliances and with unusual wet weather the washer/dryer was ace.

Steep steps up to mezzanine bed not best for oldies but there was a comfortable alternative.
