small but enough for small stays for small groups. Very clean and comfortable..

Finding it was tough. Additional information with a small diagram for getting into the side street would have been good..

Location is good, short walk to the fish market. Neat, compact, with everything you need. Very clever furnishing for limited space. Toilet was very clean. It was a pity that shower gel was missed out. Bed was comfortable and the blanket was very warm and comfortable.

The cobble road leading to the apt is steep and not accessible by car. Not good for those with large luggage. Good to have a few small items in the kitchen like kitchen towel, oven glove, dish washing sponge.

Location was great

This house is in such a superb location: you can access everything by foot in Bergen within minutes. The location is very typical of Bergen which makes you feel less like a tourist and more like a resident. It is a very quiet area too. To get into the property you are emailed a code just before your check in time. This code operates the digital lock on the front door so no need to worry about losing keys! The house itself is so cute! On the ground floor is a kitchen/sitting room with sofa and 3 chairs and a shower room. The property is extremely well stocked with white goods including kettle, coffee machine, iron, ironing board, washing machine, tumble dryer and hair dryer. Up the narrow staircase (with a low roof!) takes you to the bedroom in the eaves so no standing up here for tall people. There is a very comfy double bed with two gorgeous duvets and a single bed. We did have to contact the Lessor on arrival about a couple of things but they were very good at answering the phone (even on a Sunday afternoon) and responding to emails. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again.

I mentioned a couple of things we needed to contact the Lessor about which were dealt with very quickly but I want to mention for a complete review. The digital lock needs to be in place for the code to work or it simply announces that the door lock is jammed; not ideal when you are trying to get in. We rang and were told to try pushing the door in and then the lock worked perfectly. Once you know the trick it is easy but always a little stressful when you are somewhere new! The WiFi had all green lights across it but didn't accept the password. Again, we contacted the Lessor who asked us to reset the router (feel I should have thought of this but all the lights were green!). Once I had reset it, it worked perfectly. Finally, there were two vital pieces of equipment missing from the kitchen (which was otherwise stocked very well): a pair of scissors and a corkscrew!

Everything was clean except the oven which was really dirty and when we switched it on the room became really uncomfortable and difficult to breath. But the kitchen except the oven was super clean and new.
