We liked this full-fledged apartment near the sea. Nearby there are shops, parking and gas station. The beach is 5 minutes away

"disappointingly difficult"

we were stranded by the Crete floods. booked this room for the night. then had over ten emails from some leadership group with various links to the booking none of which ever worked. they did keep responding but we never managed to check in or find our room. eventually we gave up and stayed at a resort hotel. waste of £65 but we were running out of options.
