Windows did not close well so all the noise from the street was at same level inside. Ear plugs recommended.

We booked Casa D'Amico al Duomo for two nights for a small family of 4 adults and 2 children and were really really satisfied. The place, the host, the price and the apartment itself was perfect. The smell at the apartment (even in the backyard) was magnificent (maybe because of our bad experience in Palermo...). The host was really nice , helpful and friendly. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. If we ever come back to Catania, i would definitely try to book it once again.

Our host was friendly and very accommodating allowing us to check-in early, and communication was prompt and clear. The apartment was well stocked and clean and the location was ideal for us.

Upon inspection, we noticed that the smaller shower was not cleaned properly possibly missed in getting the apartment ready for our early check-in. Our biggest disappointment was with the bedroom windows that open to the small balconies that overlook the main street below. They are old, they don't close properly and are not insulated in any way. The music from nearby bars, the late night/early morning revelers and the traffic of the busy street below made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep.
