GBGBGBThe host communicated with me before and after my stay to ensure that I knew how to get into the property. He was flexible with checking in and out. He left cakes biscuits tea and milk for my arrival. There was also shower gel and towels. This house is secure and in a good location, close to all amenities. It’s well priced and there’s plenty of room for a family stay.
Perhaps curtains on the front door and blinds in the kitchen would make it cosier.

GBThe property was clean. The host was quick to respond to queries. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the property and the front extension and rear living room are recently decorated and presented to a better standard than the rest of the property. There is a new dishwasher that works well in the property. There is off-street secure parking which is easy to access.
The property is not as advertised and the listing is misleading. In the future, it will probably be as presented in the listing and the photographs but is currently undergoing refurbishment so is not to the expected standard. As a result of the refurbishments there are missing tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, damaged kitchen units with a door missing, skirting boards that are partially fitted, masking tape on doors in the process of being decorated, threadbare carpet in the hallway, no lampshades on the ceiling lights, broken window to the kitchen door, damaged fitted wardrobes to the front double bedroom, leaking kitchen and bathroom taps, damaged electrical sockets and a temporary chipboard panel to the bath. The mattresses in the front bedroom and the triple room are old and uncomfortable. The downstairs toilet is unusable as the outhouse is being used to house the washing machine. The wiring to the timer for the central heating is in the outhouse and appears unsafe. Groundworks are taking place in the front garden, which is the site of an unsightly caravan that is not to be used by the guests. There is a large outhouse in the rear garden that is being refurbished and in unsightly.
