Inn on Fox Meadow - Spacious Victorian Inn

Beautiful, clean, comfortable lodging at a reasonable price!! Perfect for my one-night stay in the area.

Well-equipped facility - spacious room with a queen bed, large screen tv and nice-size adjoining bathroom. Every thing I needed was supplied - even a blow dryer.

The property was well maintained, spacious, vintage style, with many amenities available. I had a lovely time and the host was quick to respond and very kind and accommodating.

happy with the breakfast prep, quite, good location, digital door lock for the room, convenient charging station by the bed.

The parking spaces were hard to read

Charming 1870s home and furnishings. Very clean. Self service breakfast available 24x7. Nice selection and variety. Uber dropped me of after a long hard day. I really appreciated that I could get a bite to eat and "crash" without going out.

Unfortunately, the milk in breakfast room fridge had spoiled. The bedroom got cold at night. Luckily the bed had a nice cozy comforter that kept me warm enough. (There was a space heater in the bedroom but I did not notice that it was there to be used until the next morning.)

It was close to where I needed to be but so was Doubletree (I don't know the area). If I ever go back I'll use a corporate accommodation.

First off Booking.com did not send the email about the front computer in until well after I was on the road. I had no clue this was a self-serve Inn. Lucky for me someone was there when I got there and the front door open. Then the next afternoon, the lock wouldn't take the numbers. I found two numbers, got a person on the 2nd call, and he had to reset the door. I would never have thought to check my emails for last minute information. NO COFFEE ever there. Unacceptable.The "continentalbreakfast" was mushy banana, smallest yogurts. Didn't bother, went elsewhere. First night big storm knocked out the tv and it never came back. The cimputer key in to the room was annoying. Put everything down, find the number. 6 digits, different than front door. If you're going to do that, 4 digit numbers are memorable. Parking is terrible. The late email notes a parking space number but the numbers are poorly marked. I was blocked in the morning I needed to get out but luckily the person came down in time so I wasn't later. I was generally annoyed but I have to say it is as much booking.com's process as the Inn's process. 50/50 very annoyed.
