A home away from home

It was spacious and a good location for our plans

We checked in at 3 pm simply to leave bags as we weren’t planning to be back until late. It was filthy! Dirty saucepans in the sink, a full dishwasher of dirty plates, filthy oven with a food stained towel hanging from it. There was no toilet paper in the whole house, no curtains in some bedrooms and no blinds in the bathroom where neighbours could see straight in! Some of the beds weren’t made up and one had a stained old duvet cover on it. There were spillage stains all over the carpet and to top it off the swimming pool advertised had no water in it! We reported this to the host who simply said the previous guests had trashed the place and the cleaner did all they could. When we arrived back at 10 pm we assumed the major issues would have been dealt with but nothing had been done. We were travelling with hungry children and had to order take away as the kitchen was unfit to cook in. We also had to eat out for breakfast the next day for the same reason. We couldn’t even drown our sorrows with a glass of wine as there was no bottle opener. The host has still not given us any proper response or offer of compensation so I have had to make a complaint to booking.com I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! Absolutely awful experience

Beautiful home and incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts.

The pool was not in use.

Good location for what we needed, host was great and accommodated a late checkout on short notice. House was absolutely beautiful and spacious. Everyone was comfy and slept well! We hope to come back again. There’s also a corner shop 2 doors next to the house and some local food places like McDonald’s & KFC. Ammara thank you so much, you have a lovely house!

House must still be undergoing some construction as there was some rubbish outside but didn’t impact our stay at all.
