Omart Hotel - Gallery

Beautiful hotel - basically a house with a gallery turned into a hotel. Large spacious room. Very comfortable. Great little private balcony. Exceptional breakfast. The owner was very kind.

The old lady (owner's mom) was a little mean to me at first but I think I won her over at the end.

Georgian hospitality is something special) At this hotel you feel as a dear guest rather than a client. Family run hotel, with beautiful rooms and delicious Georgian cuisine for breakfast) Thanks a lot Tamiko, you made our stay unforgettable!

Omart Hotel is in a small alley in a quiet residential neighbourhood. If you are travelling light you can easily access it from the stairs from Orthachala castle bus stop on the photo. There are a few other Hotels and apartments nearby. It is 10 minutes walk to Sulphur Baths downhill. The Hotel shares the courtyard with another establishment. Omart is a small Hotel with only 6 rooms and run by a family, grandma Nelli, mom Tamara and daughters Ruso and Nino.  Tamara made every effort to make us feel home. We had a room upgrade to a room with City view. Rooms are spacious with a nice bathroom with toiletries. The Hotel walls are beatifully covered by paintings. There is a terrace at the top where you can enjoy the view at night. The breakfast is not an open buffet, but prepared to your taste. Usually it was too much with fresh fruits, haçapuri, tomatoes, fruit compote, omelette, etc and we could not finish it all.

Unfortunately there is no elevator in the Hotel.

The staff were great. Thank you Tamar, Mino, Rusa and of course mama. The room, bed were spacious and extremely comfortable.The attention was excellent. Breakfasts were brilliant. Great view of the city from our window. Beautiful neighborhood.

A definitely memorable stay in this family-run hotel. Good location, quiet area and maximum 15minutes to the old city by feet. Clean and comfortable, made me feel like home. Very nice homemade breakfast. A store nearby so you can buy drinks, foods. Inside the hotel you can see many great paintings by the grandfather of the family. One more thing, you can go to the roof and see the city view.

Excellent hotel located in old town, amazing hostess, big clean rooms and an amazing breakfast.

Tamar and her family really make you feel at home. It’s like staying with family. They will help you with anything! The rooms and bathrooms are big and nicely decorated. All amenities are there. Breakfast is homemade and huge! The house is located in a nice quiet neighbourhood, close to all the sights.
