Absolutely awful stay. We were booked here for 5 nights and had to leave after 1 night. The place is infested with mice. There were mice droppings, the mice in the walls kept my colleague awake at night, the mice ate some of our food, and there were mouse traps everywhere so the issue was clear to the owners. There was also dangerous things at the house - an extension lead across the stairway, a broken plug socket. And very stained (or still dirty) blankets, bathmats and towels. We told them about the mice straight away and they wanted to come to an arrangement but there was no way we could stay with the mice situation as it was. We only stayed one night but they charged us for 2 nights because we picked up our things at 3pm. We were pleased that they at least refunded us for the other 3 nights.

On arrival after a long drive to not be able to use the property properly until after 2.30am the following morning after we arrived due to no heating or hot water then a subsequent new leak. (We was refunded for this day due to the inconvenience) but would have been less stressful if they just said we couldn't stay there and find alternative accommodation for the duration of our stay. Also the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet and the shower head didn't stay up in the holder, we was given 2 used toilet rolls so needed to buy more the next day. All of the beds had wet blankets on the end of each bed. After the heating was fixed we could only control the heating buy turning on and off individual radiators as the thermostat didn't work. There is limited tableware so had to take turns in having breakfast as there were 5 of us and only 3 bowls. On the last day we was given a child's plate and bowl as we had been using a small cup for my 8 months old breakfast. Property Facilities Booking. Com says it has but it doesn't: Balcony, Bath, View, Tumble dryer, Toilet Paper, Bathrobe, board games/puzzles, daily Housekeeping. Also no access to the garden where the clothes airer seems to be kept.
