Sea Breeze - Hastings

Lovely big rooms, lots of space, well-equipped, great location near the sea. Comfy family living room with lots of sofas and sea view. Easy to park nearby. Extra facilities in refurbished basement, effectively providing second kitchen - almost like having 2 flats in one. Great place for families to stay.

Variable heating and hot water - some rooms very warm, bathrooms and larger rooms quite cold in December. No instructions on how to adjust. Mirrors missing in bathrooms. Scaffolding still up outside. Minor issue, but maybe switch washing machine in kitchen with dishwasher in basement - easier to take laundry down occasionally than crockery/glasses every mealtime. A few more instructions generally, eg lockbox and bins not labelled with flat number - bit confusing.

The rooms were huge. The host was excellent with their communication. It was near the beach with lots of free parking nearby. Washing machine.

No lock on 1st floor bathroom. Would love to have a dishwasher.

Location great, space good, bedrooms spacious & comfortable. Queries responded to quickly & resolved as much as possible in the time frame.

Kitchen tired but fine. Exterior spaces terrible, booked property to cook & dine at as family members unable to eat out due to disabilities. Intended to use outdoor spaces but on arrival these were filthy & overgrown, with soiled & broken furniture. The agency did their best & had overgrowth cut back & got new furniture but we lost use of the space for most of our time there. The balconies remained dirty & in disrepair. To sum up interior good especially bed & bathrooms, exterior not functioning.

The size of the property and location is lovely. The owner tried to recify the heating and hot water issues, unfortunately unsuccessfully.

No heating or hot water. Balcony doors and windows are extremely stiff or jammed, the kitchen window does not close. Balconies covered in sludgy moss. Curtain rail in one bedroom had been pulled down.

It’s really big and tastefully done, spotlessly clean, good view from the balcony , quiet neighbourhood but pub and food walkable .. really enjoyed it .. nice and relaxing

It was a bit thin on kitchenware (baking trays, cook pots etc) but we managed. ..
