Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. We booked a specific apartment, but upon arrival, we were redirected to a different one without prior notice due to a faulty shower. The following morning, we were told by a cleaning lady to check out very early and were moved yet again to another apartment, which also wasn’t ready when we arrived. None of the apartments we stayed in matched the one we had booked, and the constant shifting disrupted our plans. To make matters worse, there were a lot of mosquitos in the apartments, and no mosquito repellents were provided, which made our nights very uncomfortable. Initial communication from the host felt dismissive, and the situation was handled poorly. After I raised my concerns directly, the host did eventually apologize and explained their challenges, which I appreciated. Still, the experience lacked transparency, proper communication, and organization, making it unnecessarily stressful.
