Bovinda Cottage - By the Beach, Bettystown

The cottage was perfect for our stay, very comfortable and cozy with all the needed amenities. Nice location with easy access to transportation. Saoirse was a great host and very helpful!

Lovely little cottage, perfect for a family of 4. Quiet area and private back garden. Beds were comfortable. Practically everything you need is supplied and there is even an air fryer which was a bonus 😁 Just a quick walk to the village and the beach.

Decor was beautiful, location was amazing, house was spotless. House was a few mins walk to the beach and the village including pub, restaurants and shops. Great base to explore the coast to Dublin and the Boyne drive. Only an hours drive to Belfast too. Added more to our to do list so will definitely be back.

The immediate impression of Bovinda Cottage is that it is a home. rather than just a holiday cottage. I have never stayed in any short-stay accommodation that is as well equipped. There was salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee (both instant and a plunger with ground coffee), flour, cling film, paper towel and enough toilet paper for our stay. It also has sufficient cupboard space for guests to unpack their belongings. Our host, Saoirse was friendly and very helpful. We took her advice on restaurants on three occasions and her recommendations were very good.

Nothing was wrong, but guests beware, Bovinda cottage is in a row of similar cottages with a shared drive only two cars wide. This means that it is hard to park, and impossible to turn your car around unless you have a very small car.

The owner was very helpful before we even arrived. It was like living in our own home near the beach and town.

Location good, house clean, good wi fi, tv, cooking facilities , washing machine etc. Everything was as expected and described in advance. Host was very helpful.

Parking quite restricted as house is in a lane off a busy road. This took a bit of getting used to.
