MAA Hotel and Suites - Hurlingham, Nairobi

Location wasnt far from everything

Bed was not comfortable They didn't put pillow cases on all pillows Staff instead of assisting and making sure the guest is comfortable just acting like prison guards not allowing friends to the room and checking how long they stayed. I felt like i was treated like a child when my friend came to visit and receptionist kept calling and saying i have to pay for a friend to be in my room!!!! Also when checking in they give you a list of rules to sign which no where mentioned they rules are crazy, like losing a key is 1k KES, room service extra charge, no guests or pay for guests 100% immediately... The worst experience

The food breakfast and dinner menu could be improved in the dining area on floor one. I tried the Garden restaurant and I loved that more. I needed the spa to completely relax me unfortunately they did not have one

Excellent customer care across all departments, great facilities, clean, safe for solo travellers, great city view, great internet connection.

Could improve on breakfast variety and quality/ freshness of some food items e.g. juices, pastries, etc.

Beautifully appointed rooms. Great value for money. Great location.

If you lose your room card, you are charged 1000 kshs for a replacement. This is the only hotel of this calibre that I've ever seen with such a policy. It is way above the price of a replacement and it seems like a penalty.
