Heavenly on Hope - Lake Hayes Holiday Home

Everything was perfect my family enjoyed our stay here it was absolutely beautiful stay the house had everything from the rooms to the kitchen. Would recommend for future trips.

Nothing everything was perfect.

Location was great, house was great and enough space for 6 adults 😀Flying in early too they were very accommodating allowing us to check in in a little earlier.

Couldn't find a fault

The location and the estate is lovely, peaceful, spacious and very clean and tidy. The kitchen is very well equipped, big fridge/freezer. Bedrooms were comfortable with enough storage for a weeks stay. Off road parking and low maintenance tidy garden areas for the kids to play. The photos don't actually do the house justice to gain the size, space and beauty of the property. So it exceeded expectations on arrival.

The equipment for cleaning the pool consisted of a broken skimming net and had not looked like the bottom hadn't been cleaned in close proximity to us arriving. The rug in the lounge had debris in it, backs of earrings, the odd sweet, other things in the long pile of the rug. The hoover struggled to lift with the long pile. There were long dog hairs on the curtains in the hall across from the bedrooms next to the pool. We have no pet allergies but was a bit unsightly when noticed. We did find some packaging from socks and underwear underneath the bed in the room across from the pool too. That hadn't been picked up in the pre stay clean. Only found it as my kids had dropped a toy off the bed and went to retrieve it.

Location wasn’t too far from Queenstown Central. Very close to Five Mile Shopping Centre. Very big space for a big group/family.

No heating inside the showers/toilets. No heated towel rails. Hot water seems to run out. No hot water coming out of tap from bathroom sinks.
