GBThe apartment is a good size and in a fantastic location at the edge of a square on the lake shore at Menaggio, where there seems to be a concentration of activity, potentially the busiest part of the town from what we saw. Everything needed for the stay was there (bar a missing cork screw) and there was a starter pack of things like cleaning products and coffee pods for the coffee machine. There is a balcony overlooking the square. Breakfast is literally a 1 minute walk across the square from the front door, as were good quality restaurants for other meals, couldn't be better. The ferry dock is about a 10 minute walk away. At the time the traghetto was not operating from this dock but there is one here when available again. There is secure private parking a few minutes walk away if you have a car.
The air conditioning only circulated air, after being on for hours the temperature didn't go down. As we weren't there for long and it was over a weekend we made do with windows open and there was a big fan in the bedroom, but that then threw up another problem. Being on the busy square it was incredibly noisy until well into the night, so ideally the window needed to be closed! Something to consider, if you want to be in the heart of activity expect late nights. The bathroom window is overlooked by opposite flats and has no blind. Someone had hung a small towel on the window but you get the impression you'd be on show at night with the lights on.
ATGreat Location. Comfy terrace overlooking the main placa and lake view while still secluded enough for some privacy. The garage (included with the apt) around the corner was very practical. Largest TV set I have seen in a while with added opportunity to log in to your favorite streaming service.
The sofa which apparently is also a sofa bed could use new springs. It was not a huge deal but one thing I would improve.
AUAmazing location right in the heart of Menaggio overlooking the lake. Plenty of restaurants nearby and about 5 min walk from the ferry port. The apartment was spacious and clean. Lovely balcony area.

SAThe location and the balcony was unreal. Few steps from the ferry station and right in front ot the city center! It was very convenient in terms of checking in and out. The apartment is spacious and clean.
The curtains does not have blackouts to block the sunlight. No washing machine. And the water heater is not hot during our time.
