GuestReady - Un Moderno Apartamento a un Paso de la Plaza Mayor

THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT. A 5 MIN WALK FROM LA LATINA METRO STATION WITH GREAT ACCESS TO OTHER PARTS OF MADRID. THE APARTMENT IS A 25MIN WALK FROM GRAN VIA AND RETIRO PARK WHICH WAS VERY HELPFUL. VERY CLEAN WITH 3 BEDROOM AND TWO SHWER ROOMS. THE FACILITIES WERE GREAT. WIFII, WASHING MACHINE, DISH WASHER AND FRIDGE ALL WORKED WELL.

THE KITCHEN TAP WAS LOOSE AND I NOTE THAT A PREVIOUS GUEST HAD COMMENTED ON THIS BUT NOTHIN HAS BEEN DONE. THE BEDS WERE NOT THE MOST COMFORTABLE. THE SECOND SHOWER WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO USE ONCE SOMEONE WAS HAVING A SHOWER IN THE OTHER SHOWER ROOM OR WHEN THE WASHING MACHINE WAS RUNNING.

The layout of the apartment, it had everything you could possibly need. The ease of access to the apartment to check in , 3 seperate bedroom's with air con, and having the luxury of two shower's! Loads of towels, toiletries provided. Location is really close to Plaza Mayor etc.

The noise from the outside street and other apartments especially the bedroom closest to the street. The Saturday night there was an entire street party until 5/6am, (which you can live with one night, it's Saturday night), but every other night there is people shouting on the street, on the other balcony's opposite & people hanging around and kicking bins etc all the way through the early hours. It's that loud (echo between buildings etc) you wake up every time in that bedroom. The other two bedrooms were a lot quieter but we needed to use all three. So I wouldn't be put off if not using all three bedrooms.

The apartment is really nice and comfortable and clean, and the location is great!! Late check-in was no problem and also late check-out was possible. Eduardo who handed over to key to us was very helpful and supportive - 10 points for him!

We booked the apartment for 7 people. Unfortunately the apartment was only prepared for 6 people. We had to wait 2 nights until we got the additional bedsheets and towels and it turned out that they were not smelling very clean. Communication with the property owners was not easy. I wrote several emails regarding the late ckeck-in and never got an answer. Also the information regarding the late check-out was lost somehow. In the end, they claimed that they never got any messages. Although the location of the apartment was really great, it sometimes got pretty noisy outside on the street during the night. Not everything works properly in the apartment. The water tab in the kitchen was very loose. In addition, when the water is on in one of the 2 bathrooms, there is hardly any water left in the other bathroom and it is impossible to have a shower.
