Unikt sted! Når du læser denne anmeldelse, har du fundet det mest fantastiske sted til dit ophold i douro dalen. Stedet er utroligt smukt, detaljeret og smagfuldt på alle måder. Og så er ejerne og personalet med til at man føler sig tryg, særdeles velkommen og de giver så meget personlighed til stedet. Jeg ville ønske jeg havde haft mulighed for blive der, og vil helt sikkert vende tilbage, hvis rejsen går til douro igen. Beliggenheden i dourodalen er iøvrigt perfekt for mange oplevelser inden for kortere afstand. Hvis man ikke blot vil blive på stedet og blot nyde den fantastiske udsigt og pool.

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa. O lugar é lindo, tranquilo e extremamente acolhedor. A decoração é absolutamente encantadora, cheia de detalhes cuidadosamente escolhidos para preservar a história e a alma da Quinta. Dá para sentir o enorme carinho e dedicação em manter viva toda identidade e tradição do espaço. Os anfitriões, Ricardo e Helena, foram incríveis, extremamente simpáticos e e genuinamente calorosos, nos sentimentos como em nossa casa durante toda a estadia.Foi uma experiência inesquecível e certamente voltaremos em breve!

The Quinta is one of the most exceptional hotels I have ever stayed in. Its location up on the hills overlooking miles of hillside vineyards is breathtaking. The building itself is gracious and warm, and full of light. The host Elaina is attentive, humble and welcoming, and you can see the pride she has in her service, facilities and staff. And the restaurant! An abundance of beautiful, fresh and delicious food is set out each morning for breakfast -- including traditional Portuguese fruits and baked goods -- and you can book in for a first-rate lunch or dinner experience, sitting at the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the world below. The whole experience really cannot be beat.

Hotel elegante com requinte do Douro, com pessoas educadas prontas a proporcionar bem estar .Pequeno almoco fabuloso. Refeicoes com toque transmontano Espacos exteriores .muito agradaveis proporcionam tranquilidade e descanso com vista p as encostas de vinhas a perder de vista. Espaco da piscina exterior muito bom ,demonstra uma localização no topo da montanha c vista a perder.se no horizonte.

This place was magical! Helena, Ricardo (owners) and Jon (the sommelier) were amazing hosts. They were warm, inviting and as interactive as you wanted them to be, which our group really enjoyed. It was the perfect place to stay after a few days in Porto and before visiting Lisbon because it was a tranquil destination in and of itself. The property was beautifully kept and we were encouraged to hike among the vineyards and search for the goats. After our hike we took a dip in the infinity pool and enjoyed the gorgeous views with a glass of wine. The house itself was incredible. The attention to detail in every single room was breathtaking. The meals? Incredible. We had the opportunity to meet the chef and peek in the kitchen where the food magic takes place, which was delightful. Jon, the sommelier joined us every evening to share information and some of his favorite wine pairings with us. Although we never saw housekeeping, they were like little fairies who snuck in and tidied our room without ever being seen, but you could tell they were there. Helena felt like my international sister I never knew I had. I love her and she is gracious and so proud of her place as she should be.

Die historische Quinta wurde vom Besitzerpaar mit enorm viel Sorgfalt und Sinn für Schönheit und Aesthetik gestaltet. Vom Empfang bis zum Abschied wurden wir sehr aufmerksam und herzlich umsorgt. Das Besitzerpaar ist sehr wertschätzend und nimmt sich viel Zeit für seine Gäste. Man fühlt sich zu Hause. Das Frühstück bietet ein reichhaltiges Angebot, auch mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Das Abendessen ist ein Erlebnis: Im persönlichen Rahmen wird man vom finnischen Kellner (und Sommelier) äusserst freundlich und wertschätzend bedient und erfährt nebenbei vieles über das Douro-Tal und seine Spezialitäten. Der Blick über das Tal ist fantastisch und die Umgebung sehr ruhig, einfach ideal um die Seele baumeln zu lassen! Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und stilvoll ausgestattet. Wir hatten einen direkten Zugang zur Terrasse und zum Infinity-Pool. Auch der Innenpool im Felsen hat uns sehr beeindruckt.

Die ausgesprochene Gastfreundschaft, welche man heutzutage nur mehr selten antrifft. Das einzigartige Frühstück, ein tägliches Erlebnis. Sonderwünsche werden einem buchstäblich von den Augen abgelesen. Der freundliche und sympathische Sommelier aus Finnland, ein Gedicht. Gratulation. Ein sehr interessanter Mensch.
