Sai Gon Ha Long Hotel

The overall Hotel was excellent the breakfast was also very good. We had a suite on the 11floor and the view over the bay was amazing. Beds was huge and comfortable the room to be honest was great.

The only thing that let the hotel down which really isn't their fault. Is the really obnoxiously loud music that is played on the beach from 3pm till 3am every day by two other buisnesses Which means you can't really use the balcony in the evenings. Luckily the sound proofing does reduce the noise to an acceptable level.

Nice location.

No wifi at stayed floor; most of time, very weak signal, could not use. Reception did not record our room reservation through Booking.com. We had to tell them when we arrived to check-in.

Good facilities and location

The restaurants closes by 9pm so you cannot order anything after that.

Breakfast - Good choice and spread. However the breakfast is only till 9 am which is pretty early if you are on a vacation. Tour Booking - they were kind enough to book a Ha Long bay tour for us

Gym - very shabby and unhygienic with some broken equipment and lacks basic things like providing a fresh hand towel for a workout and no provision for drinking water during workout - the hotel staff expects us to get our bathing towels and also water from our room which is absurd. Swimming Pool - basic thing like at least providing a swimming towel should be there but there were none. Room - The room with a sea view is good. However they just provide 330 ml. of drinking water bottle in a day which is not good enough considering such an expensive room. Overall considering it was a luxury property the basic amenities were missing...!

The room is fine.

Breakfast was poor, and the food was added very slowly.
