Brigid M’s Farm House

Always love staying at Eileen’s place, it’s perfect! Everything has been thought of from toothpaste and toothbrushes to milk, eggs and cereal for breakfast. I always look forward to coming here to stay for work when I’m up in Cavan. Can’t fault Eileen’s place and she is a pleasure to deal with!

Everything is always great nothing I don’t think about the place.

the location. house was very well kept and maintained very clean and comfortable. amazing garden where we enjoy the sun and views. loved the small extra tv room at end of house. we had relaxing stay away from all noise. was so quiet you could only heard the birds. Eileen was great host meet up at check-in but we felt very private after. very little touches in house like having eggs bread coffee and more extras. and great value for money too.

That was amazing. I wanted a 3 day getaway for peace and quiet, and a little time to get some work done. It exceeded what I expected. On arrival, Eileen had everything set out. She was there with the keys, and had food available for me. Everything was perfect about the house. Wifi was strong. Beds were cosy. Bathroom was perfect. If one is looking for privacy, it is perfect. The house is a distance away from other properties; therefore I had complete privacy. There was complete silence in the morning and night times. I mean complete silence. It was perfect. It was lovely to hook the laptop up to the TV in the evenings, and kick back on the cosy couch to catch up on netflix. The property is about 20 minute drive to Cavan town, where I went to the leisure centre - swimming pool, gym etc. And got shopping in the town. I will definitely be going back there later in the year.

Couldn't say a bad word about the place or the host. Eileen is fab.

Eileen was great even supplied a tavel cot for your little girl. We stayed in March and on arrival the house was warm and very clean and tidy. The heating was on throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable. In a quite rural area which we liked.

Brigid’s farmhouse was a lovely and cozy stay. It’s not cluttered, but it has everything needed for a comfortable visit. The house was well-heated, the bed was very comfortable, and the overall space was generous. It has everything one needs for a weekend away, it’s very quiet and it’s a great place to relax. A small tip—make sure to let the owner know your arrival time in advance, as mentioned in the house rules, to ensure everything is ready. Brigid herself is a lovely woman and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!
