St John's Old Rectory

Nice room. Good views. Grand old house.

No decent shower. Difficult to find the property; there was an explanatory email that wasn't sent until the day of our stay, and therefore we hadn't seen it- would be better if this was sent earlier.

Really interesting and cool property - it was well situated for the activities we had on our itinerary. Heather was very kind and gave us a warm welcome.

It was so romantic! Lovely room and the host was outstanding.

The location was beautiful, the house is beautiful! The receiving staff member was very helpful. The room was great and spacious.

There was dishes with old cheese in the fridge, the bathroom toothbrush holder was not cleaned, there was quite a bit of mold in the shower area, the tile grouts were not clean, pink instead of white. Someone had shaved the hairs were not removed/ cleaned in shower area. There apparently was new cleaning staff who did not understand their job! The owner and some staff members tried to make it a great experience, but for the price we paid, it should be a spotless place and it was not.

Rooms are very dark, lost power in my room in the middle of the night. Very poor management.
